Today was our first big outing. David had the day off so we decided to try out the Reid Park Zoo. It was really nice to get out and the kids had a lot of fun! Towards the end Deena was feeling done and kept telling me she was ready to go home, but she really enjoyed herself. Here are some photos of our fun!

I was wondering if you could take Maddi to an endocrinologist. Her weight gain seems to be too rapid. Maybe the seizures have knocked something off kilter. I am not doing this to be mean. I had weight issues do to that. It is just a thought. I know you don't need more on your plate, but none of you seem to have this issue Just caring, Adrienne
We have taken her already. So far the blood work has come back fine. We are waiting on some more but they failed the blood draw after 3 tries, so we couldn't get more. We are waiting until she needs more blood work to add that in. They want us to do the draw at the hospital.
I gained a lot of weight before puberty, then slimmed down very quickly afterward, so there's a chance it's genetic.
