It's the Little Things.....

Some of you have seen this video on facebook already, but I am proud to announce that Ramya is officially counting to 5!  I have spent months working with her every day on one-to-one and counting to 5.  We did the number 1 for a week, then 2 for a week, then 3, then 4, then spent weeks on 5.  She couldn't even repeat my counting right after I said it.  I tried every learning style I could think of.. visual, auditory, tactile, etc... in every different way I could think of.  We sang songs, we read books.  I was starting to feel like I was failing at teaching her.  Then, finally, she got it!  I was so exctited! A few days later, she counted to 10 by herself too.  I am so excited!  Here she is counting to 5...
